One of the big announcements from AutoCon4 last week came from the team behind Netpicker and Slurpit. They have now released major upgrades, and have aligned the product catalog under the umbrella of the Flock9 platform, bringing Netpicker and Slurpit even closer together.
The TL;DR
-
Netpicker AI Assistant
Netpicker now includes an AI assistant that can generate automation jobs for you. It works with public, private, or locally hosted LLMs, so you can use AI while keeping control of your data. -
Netpicker Plugin for Nautobot
The new Nautobot plugin (beta) lets you run jobs, review logs, check backups, and search configs without leaving Nautobot. -
Netpicker Workflow Automation
Workflow automation lets you trigger fixes as soon as a compliance check fails. Event automation can also run tasks when a device changes. The beta arrives next month. -
Slurp’it Service Manager
A central dashboard for managing multiple Slurp’it instances. Ideal for MSPs or distributed networks that need visibility across many sites. -
Slurp’it MCP
Slurp’it MCP connects your LLM to live and historical network data. This gives AI direct access to real network information for analysis, reporting, and automation.
Summary
Flock9 now combines discovery, compliance, config backup, and automation into one connected workflow. It brings together Slurp’it’s data collection with Netpicker’s automation engine to give teams a clear, vendor neutral way to manage and automate their networks.
